Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026. The short version: we collect almost nothing, and your scores never leave your device.
Who we are
CortexCrunch (cortexcrunch.com) is an independent brain-game website. You can reach us through our contact page.
What we collect
No accounts. CortexCrunch has no sign-up and no login, so we do not collect your name, email, or any profile information to use the games.
Your scores stay on your device. Game results, streaks and best scores are stored in your browser's local storage. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes them permanently.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertising, which keeps CortexCrunch free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Third-party vendors may be opted out of via aboutads.info.
Consent. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you will see a Google-certified consent message before any personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can choose non-personalised ads instead. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies for this site.
We may also use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic. These do not identify you individually.
Children
CortexCrunch is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we don't hold personal data about you on our servers, there's little for us to disclose, correct or delete. For ad-related data, use the Google and aboutads.info controls above. If you have questions, get in touch.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
This page is provided as a clear, good-faith summary and is not legal advice. It should be reviewed against the requirements that apply in your jurisdiction (including UK GDPR and the ePrivacy/PECR cookie rules) before launch.
